Tonight was Jaden's Big "Back-To-School-Event" at her new school. It ran from 3:30-4:30 and we got to tour the school (again) and she got to meet her teacher Mrs. Alpaugh, see where her classroom is, see her cubby, drop off all her school supplies, play on the playground and see all the rooms she is excited to enter - the library being her very favorite place to go. She is excited to have art and music class as well. She likes how big the gymnasium is and the fact that she gets to play inside and outside. Very cool idea she said! Jaden's teacher started Kindergarten for her first time this year also - Jaden was quite surprised to see that she isn't 5 years old! In fact, Mrs. Alpaugh (or Mrs. A as she liked to be called) is in her first year as a teacher. She is 24 years old, married and has two dogs. At least that is what her "All About Me" board said. She seems like a really nice person and Jaden is now counting down the days until she goes to Jeffer's Pond - 7 days and counting she said! We got to meet all the teachers Jaden would be meeting ... the Media Room Teacher, the Art Teacher, the Music Teacher as well as the Phy. Ed. Teachers. They all seem like they'll make Jaden's school experience a lot of fun. We found out that she'll go to Art Class, The Media Room and the computer Labs once a week. she goes to Phys. ed. for a total of 100 minutes a week ... equaling 1-50 minute class and 2-25 minutes classes. She also gets to go to Music twice a week for 25 minutes each. She is thrilled! I will attach some pictures of Jaden and how proud she is of her school ... you know her mom was voted "Most School Spirit" my Sr. year in HS so I will teach her young to be proud of her school and her community! Well that is all for now - we are on the START OF SCHOOL COUNTDOWN! Enjoy the pictures!

Love ~ The Clark's ~ Jason, Rebekah and Jaden TOO!

Wow...if you feel like time is going too fast, think what it feels like for us "grandmas"!! It seems like yesterday that I was feeling the same way about sending Jason off to school.
Jaden is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady, not only physically, but socially and emotionally. She makes everyone in her family proud of her! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of her first day of school - especially since I won't be able to be there in person. Enjoy it all, Jaden!
Hugs to all three of you, but an extra one for my beautiful young granddaughter. I love you!
P.S. Your blog is a great idea!
