~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I hope you all had a very Blessed Easter! Ours was uneventful and fun ... Friday Jason had the day off from work and Jaden didn't have school - PLUS my daycare was closed! I have a deadline at work so I couldn't take the day off so Jaden decided to drive up to Minneapolis and meet me for lunch and to show off the girls around the office of course! We have a garden full of babies in this office ... Charlotte was the 2nd baby born and the only girl so far ... since she was born there have been 3 more and one more on the way - so my office is a sucker for the babies ... and let's face it - mine is pretty cute! We all headed to Jimmy John's for lunch after a visit through the office and then Jaden decided to stay at work with me and take the bus home at the end of the day. She enjoyed herself and had a fun time making paper clip necklaces and then strangling my boss with them (lucky girl - j/k). Saturday Jaden had the day off from swimming so I scheduled the girls to get their portraits taken. They looked SO cute together in their matching Easter clothes and the pictures came out great - we will be picking them up Friday so stay tuned! Saturday after portraits we had some errands to run and then we spent the afternoon outside ... Jaden was at the park with Christina and we were in the neighbors driveway having a drink or two ... Charlotte was sound asleep in the stroller and spring was in the air!! Whoo-hoo! Saturday night Jaden colored eggs while Charlotte watched ... next year should be so fun! Then Sunday came and Jaden was up bright and early looking for eggs and a basket. She got lots of marshmallow treats - her favorite and Charlotte got a stuffed piggy and a white chocolate duck - which mommy says was YUMMY! Thanks Easter Bunny ... we hopped in the car around 11 and headed to my Mother In Law's house for an early dinner. It was a nice time and we were home by 7:30 ... it was a good weekend! Charlotte has started REALLY sleeping well ... we are finally on a schedule and she is doing so well. She gets a bath around 7/7:30 and then eats around 8:30. I put her in bed around 9:00 and she sleep straight through until I wake her up to eat at 6:30 to start the day - unless it is a weekend and then I let her wake me up. So she is sleeping about 9 hours at night which has resulted in a loss of 2 bottles ... she seems to be adjusting fine and doesn't seem starved (have you seen those thighs!) We are looking forward to May 1 when we start cereal after her 4 month Dr's appointment. She is changing and growing so fast - how do you make that stop ... Jaden is so happy spring has sprung and her snow pants can get put away - I am too ... she is having a blast out at the park and going for a walk with me every night ... this weekend is a busy one yet again. Swimming starts back up at 11:30, then Hannah Bonneville's bowling party is at 1:15 followed by the Hannah Montana movie at 4:00 - followed by drinks and dinner at the Bonneville's to celebrate Hannah's birthday and mine too ... so we are excited for the weekend! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and that your week is going well too ... Until next time!
