Happy almost Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was fun and busy and HOT! The company I work for moved into new office space downtown and since we moved Friday the office was closed which meant that I had a 3 day weekend! Which worked well for Jaden and I! We slept in, did a little shopping and hung out at the house. Jolene and Hannah came over to swim around 2:00 and we had a nice time! After swimming Jolene left to head home and thus started Hannah's first ever sleepover at Jaden's house! They were both very excited. The girls did arts and crafts and watched mermaid movies. After dinner we headed down to the lake so the girls could play in the sand and at the playground. We also got to watch a baby Yellow Lab learn how to retreive duck decoys - the puppy didn't enjoy playing along but was cute to watch. The girls went back home and got in the PJ's and I opened the pull out sofa for them to camp out on. They actually fell asleep by 10:30 - which is a good thing because they were up at 6:00!!!! Jaden NEVER gets up that early but Hannah does I guess ... no thank you! Luckily they are old enough to trust them awake and alone so I slept until 8 ... later that day we et up with Jolene, Jeff and Hannah at the Scott County Fair and enjoyed fair food, rides and the barns full of Clydesdales ... in fact Jason's Family on his mom's side raise Clydedales and they actually had some in the stalls to compete so we took a few pictures of the horses and the Stalheim sign. It was pretty neat! Sunday we spent the day shopping to get ready for our trip - we finay (after 4 years) got a new digital camera - a 12 Megapixel one even - my old one was only 4 ... I also found a great comfy dress for the wedding at Motherhood Maternity and I love it ... so as you can wee we had a busy weekend ... this week is busy too ... tomorrow we are looking at a few houses, Wednesday Jason heads to his mom's to drop Harley Dog off while we're on vacation and I have my 16 week dr's appointment (one more before the Sex Reveal Ultrasound!!), Thursday we are dropping Fish #1 and Fish #2 at Heather's while we're on vacation ... and then Friday we leave for our big trip at 4 am ... we are SO excited! I will try to post agai before we leave but I am sure I will get a chance when I get to my mom's ... so until next time - Have a Great Week Everyone! Now, how about Baby#2 News ...
How Your Baby's Growing: Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his/her weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he/she/s about the size of an avacado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His/Her legs are much more developed, his/her head is more erect than it has been, and his/her eyes have moved closer to the front of his/her head. His/Her ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his/her scalp has begun, though his/her locks aren't recognizable yet. He/She's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his/her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop. You should also be able to feel the fluttering of your baby as he/she moves about in his/her amniotic sac.
How Your Life's Changing: The top of your uterus is about halfway between your pubic bone and your navel, and the round ligaments that support it are thickening and stretching as it grows. You're probably feeling a whole lot better as you settle into pregnancy, too. Less nausea, fewer mood swings, and "glowing skin" contribute to an overall sense of well-being.Soon you'll experience one of the most wonderful moments of pregnancy — felling your baby move. While some women notice "quickening" as early as 16 weeks, many don't feel their baby move until about 18 weeks or more. (And if this is your first baby, don't be too impatient — you may not be aware of your baby's movements until 20 weeks or so.) The earliest movements may feel like little flutters, gas bubbles, or even like popcorn popping. Over the following weeks they'll grow stronger and you'll be able to feel them much more frequently.
Well I am happy yo report that I 'think' I feel movement but it has been so long I am not 100% sure ... I am NOT however experiencing that 'glowing skin' though - more like the exact opposite but better than morning sickness! I have broken down and bought some maternity pants just for the comfort factor ... oh and I am spending most of my days and nights peeing ... oh the joy! Well I hope you all have a great week! Hopefully we will see you again this week ...
Love ~ The Clark Family ~ Rebekah, Jason, Jaden & Baby#2 TOO!

Looks like you had a great time at the fair. I hear is it very hot up in MN. My mom called and they had taken the train from Mall of America yesterday to downtown and there was a problem with the doors on the train. They would not open becasue of the heat they said. Anyhow, my mom and dad are having a nice time, but are heading home today.

I cannot believe it has been 16 weeks since you've been pregnant. I cannot wait to know what the sex is. Only a few weeks! I cannot wait to see that post.

Jaden looks like a diferent girl with her bangs pulled back. It takes time to grow them, but it will be worth it! She is so cute!

OK, I better get back to work here. Have a great day.

Looks like you guys had a great time at the fair! Yeah to Jaden's first sleepover, I'm sure there will be many more to follow. I love the new dress and I can't wait until you find out the baby's sex...I'm thinking boy, don't know why I just am! I know Jaden will be a great big sister either way!

Have a great vacation!
