Hi all! hope you had a great weekend! Ours was uneventful and nice ... the weather was also picture perfect - which was a nice change from the 38 degrees we had early last week ... we are now heading into the 80's again ... it is no wonder so many people are hacking and sniffling! We are getting ready for Fall here ... the air is tuning crisper, bon fires, apple picking ... the endless mind numbing Halloween Costume Ideas ... I am still not sure what Jaden wants to be - it ranges from Jasmine to a Vampire! I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Jaden has truly been loving school. She loves the library (media room nowadays), the art room, gym and music - but her favorite part of the day is circle time when they learn new words in sign language and read books. In fact Jaden read her very first book all by herself already! She was so proud and I was shocked at how well she did - it is only the 3rd week of school after all! She came home yesterday BEAMING and telling Jason and I how she got to borrow a book from the library ... she was pretty excited when she found out she gets to do that every week! I am taking her to our local library Thursday to get her a Library Card because she enjoys reading books so much! She also got her school pictures taken on Monday ... with 2 front teeth missing and all! She picked out her striped leggings, jean skirt and long sleeve white shirt to go with it. I think she looked so cute! We all had a great week and ended it at Chuck E Cheeses (I secretly LOVE going there) - not a secret anymore huh? We met up with Jaden's friend Hailey and her parents for a night of games and prizes ... Hailey's little sister Hannah is 1 1/2 and got to play her very first games ... she is so cute and Jaden adores her! After Chuck E Cheeses we headed to Hailey's house for a Bonfire - it was a great clear night for it ... THANKS Bacon's!

Saturday I worked my 2nd job at SupperTyhme USA - it is a meal assembly place that I have been going to and decided to work there every other Saturday for the 40% off ... and because it is a really fun atmosphere and I get some "Me Time" too. There was an Open House Saturday so it was a blast! Sunday we spent the day cleaning and washing the cars. Then Jaden played with the neighbor across the street - Christina is 2 years old and is the cutest little thing! They played well together too!

Last night we headed over to the Prior Lake High School for Prior lake's Fall Festival. This is a yearly event they put on to showcase local area businesses as well as different activities you can do ... we had a fun time signing up for free 'stuff''. We met local cops and firefighters - Jaden giggled as she watched a Police Horse go pee pee ... sideways no less! It was pretty funny I must say! Apparently the poor horse goes pee pee sideways because his wee wee was frostbitten ... yup - you read that right! OWIE! We got to meet the High School Mascot - the Laker Lion as well as McGruff and some Shark from Underwater World. Jaden also got lots of free candy from all the booths - well the ones that weren't representing the local dentists :0) ... we had a fun time ... best of all Jaden decided she wants to sign up or Cheerleading! So next Wednesday we ae heading to registration to sign her up - she won't be cheering at any actual games but she'll learn cheers, the importance of team work and self esteem - and of course she LOVES it because Amanda is a cheerleader too! She really wanted to sign up for wrestling or football but football was done with registration and once she realized wrestling was mainly boys she changed her mind pretty quick ... so Cheer leading it is ... it should be a Great time for her ... Well I hope all of you are having a great week, I am heading to the couch to watch Dr. Phil with a chocolate chip cookie and a glass of wine! Until next time ...
