Hi Everyone! Here I sit on the eve - eve - eve of Memorial Weekend and I thought I would post a quick picture of Jaden in her usual pose ... she LOVES to do this and has been doing it since the day Jason taught her ... only now she knows what it means and prefers to listen to Rock N Roll very loud! I know I never posted after our Florida Vacation but as you can guess it was amazing, wonderful and full of memory making moments! We all truly enjoyed every second and as usualy flew by faster than it took to arrive! We can't wait to go back ... fortunately we head to NY for my niece's High School Graduation in a month and my parent's get here in 3 weeks for Jaden's Dance Recital ... oh boy - now that should be fun! I had to get her is full dress last week for photos and I was so depressed when I saw the final look. There is a dance book of rules to follow ... hair has to be a certain way, make-up on and outfits all must look the same. Well Rule #1 was no underwear allowed under the tights beacause (God Forbid) a panty line might be seen. Well the horror on Jaden's face at the thought of NOT wearing underwear was pretty funny - so needless to say - underwear was worn ... Rule #2 was the hair should be pulled into a bun - this was a no-brainer but it looked awful in the end ... she NEVER wears her hair slicked back like that ... Rule #3 was make-up HAD to be worn ... this one I had a hard time with - she is only 5 afterall ... I obliged and Jaden enjoyed wearing it BUT in the end she did look like the stereotypical Beauty Pageant kid with WAY TOO MUCH make-up on and looked older than 5! I am glad she decided not to do dance again next year - she wants to try Karate instead! We will see ... Well I hope all of you are enjoying the warmer weather ... our Annual CLARK FAMILY Memorial Weekend Party is Saturday and for the 1st time in 5 years it is supposed to rain - UGH! Cross your fingers for us ...
