Well being that today is Tuesday that means Baby#2 update! I personally can NOT believe that I am at week 31 already! Next week will be 32 and I will start Weekly Ultrasounds also due to the High Blood Pressure Issue! UGH! On the good side of that - we will get lots of new photos of Charlotte ... in fact next Wednesday Jolene is coming along to the Ultrasound to see Charlotte for the 1st time ... I think she's excited! The following week Jason and Jaden will come along but it will be a struggle to have Jaden 'want' to come along each week at 4:30 - so it may just be me after week 34! Everything is fine so far - no real issues with anything - I am getting uncomfortable and tired and it is getting harder to tie my shoes and shave my legs but other than that all is well relatively speaking! I am getting anxious for her to come - you know the whole wonderin - how big, how long, what will she look like, when will she come etc. Jason and I talked about it last night and we both felt the same way - anxious! I am sure once the new rooms are done we will be even more anxious!

Speaking of new rooms - GUESS WHAT I did all by myself! Well for those of you who don't know me I am not all that skilled with a needle and thread, thank goodnesss my MIL is becuase she has helped me in so many ways with hemming, shortening of stuff and dress/costume making! Well I have a glider that I got when Jaden was born ... it is almost 7 years old and turned into a very comfy CAT BED ... well the cat still has claws so occassionally her nails would get caught on the cushions and pull threads ... not to mention Jaden has spilt plenty of 'stuff' on the cushions as well! Well I took the cushions in to an upholstery shop and he said it would cost $300 to re-upholster ... umm, excuse me? So I decided I would just search for some patio furniture cushions - well I could not find any I liked so I figured I would just have to settle with what I had and cover the chair in a blanket ... well this past weekend I changed my mind - Jaden and I bought some really cute fleece on Saturday - I also bought some pink buttons ... Sunday afternoon Jaden and I recovered those icky cushions and I am shocked to say the least with how well it turned out ... I can't believe I DID THAT! I also decided to be smart about it and do the no sew closure like those blankets have - that way I can remove the covers and wash them! Wallah! What do you think? Even Jason was shocked I think! YAY ME! So Baby#2 will get Baby#1's glider in her room - so mom and me and Jaden three will get some snuggling time! I am excited ... one thing off my checklist ... only a hundred more right?
Well here is what's going on with Baby#2 this week!
How your baby's growing: This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3.3 pounds (like trying to carry 4 naval oranges!) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin. She's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

How your life's changing:Have you noticed the muscles in your uterus tightening now and then? Many women feel these random contractions — called Braxton Hicks Contractions — in the second half of pregnancy. Often lasting about 30 seconds, they're irregular, and at this point, they should be infrequent and painless. Frequent contractions, on the other hand — even those that don't hurt — may be a sign of preterm labor. Call your practitioner immediately if you have more than four contractions in an hour or any other signs of preterm labor: an increase in vaginal discharge or a change in the type of discharge (if it becomes watery, mucus-like, or bloody — even if it's pink or just tinged with blood); abdominal pain or menstrual-like cramping; an increase in pressure in the pelvic area; or low back pain, especially if you didn't have it before. You may have noticed some leaking of colostrum, or "premilk," from your breasts lately. If so, try tucking some nursing pads into your bra to protect your clothes. (And if not, it's certainly nothing to worry about; your breasts are making colostrum all the same, even if you don't see any.) If your current bra is too snug, you might also want to pick up a nursing bra. Choose a nursing bra at least one cup size bigger than you need now. When your milk comes in you'll be grateful for that extra room!

Well I am happy to report that the baby is in fact moving all around - but not keeping me up at night so that is nice of her! I actually SLEPT THROUGH the night last night - didn't even get up once to pee - that is HUGE! It has been a LONG time it seems ... Oh and the leaking boobs - yeah, that has been going on here for about 5 months now ... it is interesting to say the least and boy are the 'girls' itchy! I am not breast feeding with Baby#2 - just as I didn't with Jaden - so I will just have to grin and bear the boob leaking until Charlotte arrives - then I can endure the HUGE boobiness pain! It is SO worth every minute though ... I can't wait to have her in mt arms and have our family go from 3 to 4! Oh and I thought I'd post a few pictures of the house - the stairs go 'somewhere' now - right up to the new level ... we are able to go up and down which was strange for a few days ... the insulation went in yesterday and today and the drywall will start this week as well! Whoo-hoo ... we are all SO excited! Well enough blabbing ... have a great week everyone! See you for FFF!
LOVE ~ The Clark Family ~ Rebekah, Jason, Jaden & Baby#2 too!
