Well I finally went in to The Fringe Salon and had Dustin (my neighbor and Alanna's dad) color my hair purple ... it turned out pretty good and not too freaky or gothlike at all ... what do you all think?

We're heading off to swimming - then the Annual Target Children's Book Fair in Bloomington - then we're meeting up with Heather, Dan and Savannah at the Buffalo Tap Bar and Grill and then Driveway Drinking with the neighbors - ahhhh!

Some Facts About Baby #1 ~ Jaden

Jaden is my spunky and crafty 7 year old. She just finished up the 1st grade and achieved her many goals for the year - one being able to read. She isa member of the 1000th number club and can write the numbers 1-1000 without missing any in between. She enjoys crafts of any and ALL kinds. Her favorite thing to do is make her sister smile and laugh. She also enjoys swimming and is enrolled in a Swim School nearby. She likes amusement parks and going to the zoo but she also enjoys relaxing with good book in her room. She has lots of friends and is an all around WONDERFUL child to be around. Her father and I are blessed to be her parents!

Some Facts About Baby #2 ~ Charlotte

Charlotte is our newest family member and graced us all on December 29, 2008. She is about to turn 6 months old and has changed so much from those early baby days. It doesn't take much to make her smile - all you have to do is say "HI" and her eyes light up. Jason and I say she smiles with her entire face not just her little lips. She looks more and more like her big sister each day. Speaking of her big sister - she adores Jaden with every ounce of her being! Jaden can make her belly laugh like nobody else. Charlotte is a wonderful baby - sleeping through the night since she was 4 months old. She recently started eating cereal, fruits and veggies. She even knows what the spoon is now. She has enjoyed all she's tried except green beans - those were a NO GO. Jason and I are so proud to be her mom and dad and look forward to watching her grow ... but not too much!
