I thought I would try to do the same survey from my last post for Baby #2 …

2. What were your reactions when you found out you were pregnant? I cried my eyes out – Jason was ecstatic and Jaden was thrilled too – I was shocked that it happened so fast the 2nd time!
3. How old were you? 31
4. How did you find out you were pregnant? I had a feeling I was pregnant this time just like with Jaden … I picked Jaden up from school, stopped at Target to buy a test and then took her to get a hair cut – I then thought it would be a good idea to take the test while I was there. Boy was I shocked when 2 lines showed up … I cried and freaked and called Jolene … she said to go buy the digital test that actually says ‘pregnant’ so I did … got home, took the test, cried, freaked out and went out to the yard to tell Jason … I was crying and he thought I lost my job – and I believe my initial reaction was “no – it’s worse” … of course that isn’t true but the shock took a few weeks to wear off!!!!

5. Who did you tell first? I guess the very first person who knew was Jolene since I called her from the bathroom at Kid’s Hair … then Jason … then Jaden … then my parents!

8. Did you deliver early or late? I haven’t delivered yet – but I am hoping that since Jaden was so big and I went late with her and with my blood pressure being high throughout I am hoping for the baby’s sake (and mine) that she comes a week or two early – preferably around the end of December …

9. Did you have morning sickness? Yup Nope – nothing with Baby#2 … which is quite strange since my pregnancy with Jaden was AWFUL!
10. What did you crave? I was and still am craving lemon juice mixed with water and ice … I drink about 60 ounces of lemon juice a week … weird I know and I am not sure why … the Dr said aside from it being just gross there is nothing wrong with it! Lots of Vitamin C

11. Who irritated you the most? I think I irritated myself the most with negative thinking … we don’t have enough room in the house … will we have enough money … will Jaden be ok … I don’t want my clothes to not fit anymore … etc … so yeah, I would say I am my own worst enemy!
12. What was your first child's sex? Not 100% sure – but hoping the DR was correct and it’s a girl!
13. How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy? Not done yet but so far I have gained 11 pounds … here’s hoping not too much more …
14. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? None so far – aside from the high blood pressure which is starting to get under control after ‘tweaking’ my medication for the last 2 months!

15. Where did you give birth? Well I am hoping it doesn’t occur at home or in the car on the side of the freeway – if that doesn’t happen my DR only delivers at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN
16. How many hours were you in labor? Not sure yet but hopefully not ‘quite’ as long as last time – although with Jaden the labor wasn’t the hard part – it was the back pain!

17. Who drove you to the hospital? Well I am hoping this all starts at home and Jason drives me because goodness knows I am not a patient driver when everything is ‘right’ in the world … so he’d better be around!
18. Who watched? I am not sure who will be there this time – but I am sure it will be Jason and Jolene and being that my sister Niki hasn’t missed a single birth of a niece or nephew she may be here too! I am hoping my MIL is home with Jaden …

19. Was it vaginal or c-section? I pray it is a vaginal delivery … I don’t do well with surgery!
20. Did you take medicine to ease the pain? I would ask for an epidural again and hope it gets done right the 1st time!

21. How much did your child weigh? Not sure but right now she weighs about 1 pound 8 ounces … at 25 weeks
22. What did you name him/her? If the Dr was right and she is in fact a girl her name will be Charlotte Jo – or CJ
