Hi all! Well it is Tuesday and that means Baby#2 progress for anyone who is following along ... I also finally took an updated baby belly photo of myself (well actually Jaden took it!) We had a nice weekend - nothing to do so it was relaxing. Saturday we ran some errands at Wal Mart, Radio Shack and Petland ... where I was almost sure Jason was going to 'try' to buy another puggle ... which would result in me moving into my own apartment ... I am not in the mood for another puppy - as cute as he was - especially when a new baby will be here at the same time ... no to potty training 2 four legged babies ... at least Baby#2 would be four legged before she becomes two legged ... we managed (after an hour) to actually look for what we went in there for in the first place. A sucker fish for the fish tank since it keeps getting so slimey and frankly I hate cleaning it every week (YUCK!) We came home with an ugly albino sucker fish and a slime eating crab - which gives me the heebie jeebies because they crawl around like spiders and I am terrified of spiders ... guess that means I won't have to clean the tank anymore right? Actually those two creatures did their job pretty well and fast because when we woke up Sunday morning the tank was sparkly so it worked out pretty well. Sunday we spent the day doing laundry, watching football and playing outside with the neighbors. It was a nice weekend with fall like temperatures! This weekend we are busy - which is nice - Friday I have to go grocery shopping for the monthly 'full-load' and my mother in law is coming up to spend the night. Saturday is the annual Target Book Fair in Hyland Park (see pictures!) and Jaden, Carol and I have gone the last 2 years so we will go this year too. This year the people who do the voices for the Wonder Pets will be there - LOVE the Wonder Pets, especially Ming Ming - so ot should be fun. Then we are going to do some baby shopping! It should be a fun day - Sunday Jason is heading to the MetroDome to watch the Vikings beat up the Colts ... while Jaden and I head to Edinborough Park (see pictures!) together to enjoy some mommy/daughter time. We also decided that every night after dinner her and I are going for a walk or bike ride to talk and just spend some time together ... I may be just overly emotional but seein how fast she is growing up I don't want to miss any time with her so it should be fun - and a nice way to get in some exercise too! Other than that not much is going on ... yesterday was a 'fat day' for me and I swear no matter what I put on I felt awful in it ... so I didn't eat dinner and was weepy last night instead ... Jason rationalized it as usual and said that my body is just the vessel and to realize the amazing baby growing inside and by me being uncomfortable in my clothes just means the baby is growing and that is a GOOD thing ... yeah, leave it to him to make sense of things! Well shall we see what Baby#2 is doing these days?
How your baby's growing: At 11 inches and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.
How your life's changing: At this point, you may find your belly becoming a hand magnet. It's perfectly okay to tell folks who touch your tummy that you'd rather they didn't. And if people are telling you that you look smaller or bigger than you should at this point, remember that each woman grows — and shows — at her own rate. What's important is that you see your practitioner for regular visits so she can make sure your baby's growth is on track. You may start to notice stretch marks on your abdomen as it expands to accommodate your growing baby. At least half of all pregnant women will develop stretch marks by the time they give birth. These small streaks of differently textured skin can range from pink to dark brown (depending on your skin color). Although they most commonly appear on your tummy, stretch marks may also show up on your buttocks, thighs, hips, and breasts. There's no proof that lotion helps prevent stretch marks, but keeping your skin moisturized may help with any itching.

Well sounds like Baby#2 is growing like a weed in there ... and thankfully or sadly ... since I was quite overweight most of my life the stretch marks were there long before a baby so this isn't an issue for me ... maybe some day they will magically disappear thanks to a fabulous doctor somewhere ... or I will keep them around to remember how far I've come! Hmm, that can be the last chapter in the book! Hope you are all having a great week ... Friday's FFF post for me will be pictures of my cousins FABULOUS wedding we went to in New Jersey in august - since I am way behind in posting about that evertful day!

You look so cute and have the cutest maternity tops. So much has changed in pregnancy clothes since I was pregnant with Madeline ( I am sure you agree too)

That playground looks so awesome. We don't have anyting like that here. Madeline would have a ball and would never want to leave. Jaden is probably the same way. It's great you spend that mommy time with Jaden. You know how much things change when a baby arrives. Jaden is going to be such a big help too though. Madeline constantly is asking me for a baby bro/sis. I just tell her maybe someday (of course I would like to have a wedding first this time LOL)
I need to get moving since I am 37 years old now...considered "old" for making babies:)

Remember, it takes 9 months to make a baby..so don't let your body changing and clothes not fitting bother you. I know you are a lot like me, but pregnancy is so different. You will be fine and you look awesome!

Have a great weekend. I will check back tomorrow for FFF.
