This weeks theme is FuN iN tHe SuN ... well now that Spring has officially arrived in Minnesota I can actually post a few pictures I took of Jaden this ast weekend - On Mother's Day we headed to buy our pepper plants and flowers for our deck pots and while we planted Jaden played on her swing set and decided to wash her feet off in the sprinkler that was on to water the new grass seed ... well next thing I know I turned to look at her and she was SOAKED! She decided it was warm enough to get wet - well it wasn't too long after that idea that she said she was freezing and really had to PEE ... well I hope you all had a wonderful week and that your weekend is blessed and beautiful ... Our Baby#2 news is slowly sinking in and I admit I am a little more nervous this time around ... I am not sure why but I am hoping it goes away so I can get onto more happy thoughts (it seems like so long since I was the mom to a baby - did I forget how to 'do it'?) - such as baby fingers and toes, newborn cries and of course getting to see Jaden be a wonderful big sister ... oh and I am hoping that Jason eventually comes back down to earth - he is so giddy and full of excitement for Baby#2 ... I only hope he truly knows how much I love him and am very thankful for the family we have and will continue to have ... Have a wonderful weekend!

Look at those cute cheeks on Jaden. Can you believe you'll have another little one soon. I think I would feel the same as you do if I was expecting again. Madeline is 5 and it just seems so long ago she was a baby. Whats great about Jaden being older is that she is going to love helping I am sure. How fun that is for her too. Of course how awesome that your hubby is excited as well...

She is such a cutie. Ithink you'll get more excited as time goes on at least that's what I hear. I don't have any experience in that field as I only have one but I am sure its like riding a bike. You never forget how to do it ..whether its a bike or a poopy diaper LOL

I also wanted to comment on your 5/7 post. I wouldn't fight it; let her wear capris. A dear friend and Mom of 4 kids older than mine wisely advised me early on to "pick my battles". Now that I also have four I understand that better. So many things I worried about became non-issues down the road.
If she's just really upset about it all summer, Nair is cheap and the smell is still so bad it might turn her off (smile)

I remember a little girl who would only wear shorts, even in the winter. She would wear shorts with her snow boots and parka, and she adapted to life just fine. She still wears shorts in the winter, mostly indoors - am I correct? She went from NY to MN and has a wonderful life, do you know who I am talking about? Love your face.
