Christmas is coming - the Goose is getting fat ,,,

at least that is how the song goes. Well the Christmas Season is in FULL swing at our house and Jaden is truly excited about the season. We have been busy doing our shopping and making sure everyone gets a homemade ornament from Jaden. This year we made cinnamon and applesauce ornaments and they smell SO good - wish you could eat them but with the glue added they might not taste all that well. A few weeks ago we head to the Mall of America to see the World's Largest Gingerbread House. It was neat to see but not worth the money paid (except that it was a donation to a homeless shelter). The house was impressive and when you were up close you noticed just how much candy was used to make the thing. I am sure Jaden was thinking just like me and wanted to swipe some of the 16,000 pounds of chocolate used! On the way home from the Mall Jaden wanted to stop in to Claire's for "look". Well after numerous tries and numerous "I wants" Jaden walked out of there a 1/2 hour later with her ears pierced! I was SO proud of her - she didn't even cry, her mom did but she didn't! Now don't get me wrong she looked VERY mad afterwards and quickly asked me to take them out because "my ears feel like they are breathing on their own". It was cute to hear her say that but once she saw all the earrings she'll be able to wear she was fine. On the way home from the Mall she had to call everyone to tell them, especially her favorite 17 year old cousin Amanda ... they were very excited for her. I will post some pictures of them being pierced as soon as I download them. In the meantime we have been busy making chocolate covered pretzel rods for everyone and getting our package ready to send to NY for the rest of the family. Jaden also visited Santa Clause at the Burnsville Mall and was shocked again that he remembered her name. She asked for the Ariel Talking Kitchen and he asked her is she was a good girl. She said she was and that she had a star chart to keep track of her manners, listening and picking up skills. She is growin up way too fast, in fact her BIG Golden Birthday is coming faster than ever ... she will be 5 on March 5th and we will be celebrating that BIG DAY in Florida with 17 of our family members in one giant house (yup, we're nuts!) It should be a great time. We will be having her birthday lunch at Cinderella's Castle so she will be eating with royalty! I will update more often now that I have this figured out! Merry Christmas to everyone ... God Bless!

Love ~ The Clark's ~ Jason, Rebekah and Jaden TOO!
