Happy Favorite Foto Friday (a little early this week) ... I hope everyone had a nice week! I am still shocked at how dang fast my maternity leave is flying by ... like I said before - I don't think the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy went by this fast! But I still have 2 full weeks left with my baby#2 and I will enjoy every minute of it. I am also happy to report that Miss Charlotte will not have to go to daycare at 6 weeks ... my niece Amanda is going to be her daycare until she's 10 weeks old ... I feel so much better knowing I won't be dropping her off at 6 weeks old - even though I love love love my daycare mom - it is just so hard dropping off such a teeny tiny baby at daycare! So that is some good news ... I do have plenty of not so good news that has been going on here - kind of like a slew of misfortune has been going on and we're hopinh it will end soon ... let's see - My sister left to go back home Tuesday afternoon - well I was in the shower early (like 6am) and I was opening the curtain to get out and heard this huge BAM! Yeah, I knew someone fell but didn't know who - well it was my sister - she misjudged the step she was on and went to go down the stairs instead of up and fell 3 steps to the landing. She managed to twist her body to avoid going through the front door window ... instead she managed to put her head through our wall in the entry way - she looked like a pretzel in the entryway ... she did a number on her knee and strained her neck ... I am happy to report she is fine today - a bit sore but fine. My mom's procedure was a success and she got home on Tuesday ... well I talked with her Tuesday night and she hung up because she wasn't feeling well - well fast forward to Wednesday morning when my sister calls and says my mom had a heart attack after hanging up with me ... I am happy to report that it was a mild one and they replaced the stints she had put in a few years back and have scheduled to put one into an artery that is also clogged in about a month. My mom is heading home fromt he hospital tomorrow - with fingers crossed! Well while all this was going on my dad managed to blow out his knee while snow plowing his driveway ... he won't get it looked at because he is stubborn but he can't walk on it either so here's hoping he gets it looked at soon. So - deep breath ... things come in 3's right ... hopefully we're done then for a while!! I will keep you updated on my family ... but in the meantime - how about I get to my FFF post ... and the theme for this week is NEW ... well that is easy for me since Charlotte is still so NEW ... and Jaden is still a NEW Big Sister ... so here are my (4) favorite fotos for this week ... hope you all have a great weekend ... not sure what we're doing aside from Christmas with Jason's family Sunday ... I do know it is supposed to get cold again here - UGH! Hope it is warm and cozy where you are!
Oh and this is a HUGE THANK YOU to my Favorite Blogger Mom Misty - it was good to talk to you tonight for even a brief few minutes ... I will give you a call this weekend and we can maybe start planning a trip to meet you guys - and like I said ... the Mall of America is only 20 minutes away from our house ... And thanks again for the generous baby gift ... you are amazing - can't wait to get Tim's address so we can send him a car package! Hugs from us!
